Dr Ockie van Zyl
Dr van Zyl completed his medical studies in Pretoria and Stellenbosch Universities. He began his work as an orthopaedic surgeon in 1997 and since 2001 has focused on knee surgery.
Dr van Zyl specialises in arthroscopic procedures, meniscus reconstruction, meniscus transplantation, ligament reconstructions, chondral procedures, minimally invasive total and partial knee replacements, New Robotic Assisted total and partial knee replacements, all inside PCL & ACL reconstruction.
Dr van Zyl was the first surgeon in South Africa to perform actifit surgery for meniscal repairs. Dr van Zyl is a member of SAKS, SAOA, PCL Study Group, ISAKOS, ESSKA and ICRS
