Knee Arthroscopy is a routine operation performed as a day case.
The procedure is done under general anaesthetic or spinal anaesthetic and takes approximately 15 minutes.
Indications for knee arthroscopy are:
- Chondral damage (cartilage surface)
- Meniscus tears (removal or suture)
- Reconstruction of ligaments
- Patella (knee cap) problems
- Relief of arthritis symptoms
