Knee Arthroscopy is a routine operation performed as a day case.
The procedure is done under general anaesthetic or spinal anaesthetic and takes approximately 15 minutes.

Indications for knee arthroscopy are:

  • Chondral damage (cartilage surface)
  • Meniscus tears (removal or suture)
  • Reconstruction of ligaments
  • Patella (knee cap) problems
  • Relief of arthritis symptoms
